Land Acknowledgement

Jo-Ann’s Land Acknowledgement

Jo-Ann lives on the ancestral land of the Unkechaugs and works on the historical land of the Corchaugs and ancestral land of the Shinnecocks.

These three tribes were of the Montauk Confederacy and three of the original 13 Algonquian speaking tribes of Long Island, New York.
